Announcement of the 13th ISPACOS Symposium

The 13th ISPACOS Symposium will be held on Sunday, December 1, 2024, from 13:00 to 15:00 (Japan Standard Time).
This symposium will focus on “Drug loss.”
“Drug loss” describes a situation in which medicines already in use overseas, including in Western countries, are neither developed nor scheduled for development in Japan, making them unavailable to patients. While the term may be familiar to many, the reasons behind the situation are perhaps less widely understood. This symposium will explore the issue of “drug loss,” considering its underlying causes and current status, and discussing potential solutions.
The symposium will be held in Thailand at the Sheraton Grande Sukhumvit Hotel with a live-viewing venue in Tokyo at Juntendo University (Hongo–Ochanomizu Campus Conference Room). The program will be accessible both through in-person attendance and online via Zoom.
Lectures and discussions will be conducted in Japanese.
This symposium will provide a valuable opportunity for patients, family members, physicians, nurses, pharmacists, researchers and representatives from healthcare-related companies to exchange perspectives from their respective positions.
