Announcement of the 5th ISPACOS Symposium

In light of the spread of COVID-19, the 5th ISPACOS Symposium will be held online on Sunday, November 29, 2020, from 12:00 to 14:40 (Japan Standard Time).
The theme of the symposium is “Cancer Care During the Second and Third Waves of COVID-19: Who Connects with Whom, for What Purpose, and How?” The symposium will be jointly organized by Japan and Bangkok and will be simultaneously streamed from both locations.
The program is scheduled to be held in two parts. The first session will be conducted in Japanese, and the second session will be held with Japanese–Thai interpretation. As in previous years, the symposium will welcome speakers from a wide range of backgrounds, including healthcare administration, industry, physicians, pharmacists, researchers, patients and patients’ families.
We look forward to welcoming many participants.
The symposium will be held online using the Zoom video-conferencing platform. Participants will be able to join the Zoom meeting 30 minutes before the start time.
COVID-19 epidemic of the 2nd and 3rd waves, ‘who and who’ and ‘connect for what and how’ in cancer care”. It is planned and organized by a joint effort of teams from Bangkok and Tokyo and webcasted from Bangkok. The first part will be in Japanese and the second part will be with simultaneous interpretation of Japanese and Thai. As always, we will have presenters having a variety of backgrounds, such as government officers, industrial employees, medical doctors, pharmacists, researchers, patients, patients’ family members. We look forward to your participation.
