Professional Associations Issue Notice on Medication Guidance for Olaparib Following ISPACOS Request

ISPACOS visited the Japan Pharmaceutical Association on August 5, 2019, and the Japanese Society of Hospital Pharmacists on November 6, 2019, to submit a request titled “Considerations in Medication Guidance for Olaparib.”

Following this request, both organizations issued a notice on February 21, 2020, calling for greater attention to appropriate considerations when providing medication guidance for Olaparib.

We are pleased to report that the voices of patients played a significant role in encouraging action by these professional organizations and contributed to raising awareness among pharmacists.
